Everything else, I built.
What’s yours?
Everything else, you build.
Not everyone has it.
But if you do,
see how far it can take you,
or let it go to waste.
Will you keep the flame of ambition alive?
The tighter you hold on to who you are, the faster it slips away.
Talent is one piece of the puzzle.
To keep it from becoming wasted potential, you need two more.
01
Don’t spend years forcing something you’re not made for.
Try things until one comes easy. That’s your talent.
Then master it.
You think you don’t have it? Search more.
02
Talent alone doesn’t pay.
You have to turn it into money, and that’s the trap:
it comes much slower than you think.
You want money? Find a problem and solve it.
03
So what kept me going while nothing paid?
Obsession. I’d think about it when I should’ve been sleeping.
That’s what carried me until the money caught up.
